ROG SWIFT PG278Q Flickering and blurry text

So after 2 months working like a charm my Rog Swift monitor began to show comon symptoms to PG278Q users , the thing is as soon i uninstall nvidia drivers the problem vanish and the second i install back the nvidia driver problem comes back. Tried a few diferente nvidia drivers and nothing changed, the symptoms seems to get more visible day after day and Asus or Nvidia dont say a lot about whats going on so ill have to RMA my unit. TBH its hard to accept whats going on with this monitor worldwide its a expensive monitor and something is really wrong with it probably with g-sync bad relationship with nvidia drivers but hey we do not have any guilt and we want our expensive monitor working as it should be.

    Cheers

I just bought one of these monitors this week. I won't be able to test it until tomorrow or Saturday and now I am very worried about this thing. I may even return it without opening it.

Check your monitor build date, if the monitor was made in December by the research ive made you are safe if it was made before that you are in danger This aint a fact but most of the ppl getting this kind of problems have monitors builded before december, after that the problem doesnt appear to be so constant.

GL with your swift, remember that if it works properly its a "beutifull piece of gaming" and you canot go back and get a normal monitor coz you wont accept the big diference between a g-sync monitor and a non-g-sync monitor.

Yeah I just checked my build date. The monitor literally just arrived 15 minutes ago. Build date is December 2014, and starts with an ECL serial number. So I think I am good, I haven't seen any mention of the ECL serial numbers on the other threads. Fingers crossed, because I can't fire this thing up for another 24-48 hours.

Mine just did the exact same. It started flickering last week at 144hz, dropped it to 120hz and that worked out for 2 days. 120hz started flickering so I called in for an RMA and dropped it to 85hz. That lasted a day or two and it started flickering at 85hz last night. I was being lazy about the RMA, but tonight about an hour into some Elite Dangerous the screen went white then got darker and darker. If I unplug it and plug it back in it goes bright white and slowly gets darker. The good news in the RMA team said they have plenty in stock, so I filled out the forms for advanced replacement. I'll have to play on a 60hz 24" IPS till the new one gets here, oh the horror.

Call support, they'll email you some forms for advanced replacement and a fedex label to return the old one.

Well i am just here to describe my rog swift experience and i can describe it only with 1 word ... DISGRACE !!!!

All started last February when i bought it and guess what i am on my 5th monitor, the first 3 monitors including the one i bought all died after weeks of usage and the 4th monitor after 2 months working flawlessly started to show some problems with the power switch. Got both the panel and the powerpack replaced by Asus but guess what after one day using the monitor the same problem appeared

10 months since i bought this monitor and i guess i was able to use it w/o issues 2 months ....

oww well sorry the English from a Portuguese guy but i had to let you all know about my monitor torture since the day i put a rog swift inside my house
